On the back of the amazing 2010 and 2012 vintages in Italy, we will explore these styles and gain an insight into Chianti as a region and as a style. Sangiovese and Chianti have often had a reputation for being cheap, however, the opposite is true. There are some great value styles from both here and Italy that really do belong in your cellar! Italian food and Chianti is a match made in heaven. It will be a celebration of all things Italy @ Sagra Restaurant, a tutored tasting of top Sangiovese variety wines. Vinified’s Luke Campbell (Personal Sommelier) will guide you on how to taste, what to drink and what to put in your cellar while tasting his top Sangiovese discoveries from Australia and abroad. Enjoy a casual three course lunch (12.30pm start) of sensory pleasure, education and fun.
